Notes
Collaborative work management platform for projects, programs, and processes. Four-tier per-seat pricing with a Member/Contributor/Guest user model. Pro and Business have visible pricing; Enterprise and Advanced Work Management are custom. Annual billing saves ~25% (Pro: $12 monthly vs $9 annual; Business: $24 monthly vs $19 annual). AI features (formulas, text, charts) gated to Enterprise and above.
Plans
Pro ($9/mo per member, annual) — 1-10 members, unlimited contributors, Gantt/table/board/calendar views, rich formulas, unlimited sheets/forms/reports, 250 automations/month, 10 widgets per dashboard.
Business ($19/mo per member, annual) — 3+ members, unlimited guests and contributors, timeline view, workload tracking, admin capabilities, unlimited automations, 1 TB attachment storage, conditional form logic, unlimited widgets/sheets per report.
Enterprise (custom) — 10+ members, all Business features plus AI formulas/text/charts, portfolios, SAML-based SSO, Enterprise Plan Manager, unlimited attachment storage, directory integrations.
Advanced Work Management (custom) — All Enterprise features plus Control Center, Dynamic View, Data Shuttle, Connectors, DataMesh, Calendar App, Pivot App, and premium support (2-hour first response SLA).
Notes
Interesting Member/Contributor/Guest user model: Contributors are free users who can view, comment, upload, and respond but not create. Guests are free external users (Business+). This lets Smartsheet charge only for power users while enabling broad collaboration. No free tier — lowest entry is $9/mo. AI is a notable Enterprise-only differentiator. The AWM tier bundles premium apps (Control Center, Dynamic View, etc.) that were previously sold as separate add-ons.
